Our college teacher showed my collegues and me a documentary movie called "An Inconvenient Truth". It was all about global warming and the effects it causes on the whole planet. The documentary was presented by Al Gore. While watching the movie I learned a lot of useful information. The movie was very understandable and showed a very nice scientific slide show.
So I would suggest that everybody else should see this.

Global Warming
What is Global Warming?
Global warming as the name given to the increase of the earth's temperature. So in other words it also means the earth is getting hotter. As for what caused global warming. It is said to be caused by the increase of CO2 emissions in the atmosphere which in return helps trap in more solar rays which also causes the earth to rise in temperature.
To some it might not be a big deal, but global warming can cause devastating effects. For example the increase in temperature is making the glaciers melt which is also letting the sea levels rise. With the sea levels higher coastal areas will become flooded in no time and that is just a mere tip of the iceberg.
Nowadays more people are starting to act to try to stop making more damage to the ozone layer; even though it is a little bit late it is still helping to save humanity. It is better to be safe than sorry.

Hello and welcome to the wonderful world of me.
Before I say anything about myself I would like to point out that I am writing this blog just because I want to pass my English 174 course and that is all.
To start this off I will begin with my name. My name is Mohammad Al-Hashemi. I was born on May 28, 1987. I am an Emirati. For those who don't know what country I am from it is the United Arab Emirates or how most people from the world know it as Dubai (which is in fact a city in the UAE).
A little bit about my past. As far as I can remember in my childhood years I was the quiet and silent type. There were times my parents would tell me that when I woke up I would just stay there in my crib without making a sound. As years went by I became more and more distant from most people around me. I always loved to stay alone either in my room or just sitting far away from everybody. It was only when I started to go to school that I slowly started to talk to other people. Also during those elementary years I surprisingly made a lot of friends.
Now I will say a little bit about my present life. I am currently studying in the Abu Dhabi Men’s College. Nothing really special there except that I can’t help but see a lot of flaws in some of their rules. Other than that some of the days there can be quite interesting.
What I would like to become in the future is better person. Not that I am bad or anything, it is just that I want to do something new for this world and do it in the name of my country.
